Red Nose Day 2023

Wow!  What a busy day.  Today we have been introduced to a variety of sports whilst raising money for the Comic Relief charity. 

All children from across the school have had the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports including dance, gymnastics, basketball, juggling, tennis and kick boxing!  During the day each class has had a short introduction to these sports which has hopefully inspired them to have a go at something new and has given them a active, fun end to the week.  Thanks to all the coaches and instructors who have provided their expertise for the day - it has been wonderful to see such engagement and activity across the school. 

Laura - Y1: I enjoyed dancing because i liked the moves and the music.

Suhana - Y3:  I really liked the martial arts because it was very fun but also very safe.  I really enjoyed it!

Jack - Y5:  Tennis was my favourite sport today because I enjoyed the game when we had to balance the ball on the racket for as long as possible.  I was nearly the winner.

Betsie Y6: I liked basketball because we were taught to shoot properly and I won the competition!
