Our Year 5 children visited the Winchester Science Museum to support their studies about Space. It was a really hands on and fun museum. Time was spent in the classroom watching a video message of Major Tim Peake from the International Space Station. The children also did several experiments including using a model of a remote control grabber that is used on the ISS. They also had the opportunity to try many hands on experiments in the main hall. A visit to the Planetarium, learning about the star constellations finished off a fantastic day!
