Foodbank

food bank logoFriday 12th December was National ‘Wear a Christmas Jumper Day’ so our School Parliament decided to use this as a fund raising event for our local Foodbank which we support throughout the year.

Everyone had been so thoughtful with the type of food that was donated, we were overwhelmed by the huge amount that came in. The Foodbank volunteers filled two cars with your donations and they were delighted. This means that lots of families who would not have had a treat at Christmas will now benefit from your kindness and generosity.

Through the coming year we will continue to support this very worthy cause. If you can possibly stretch to buying 1 extra item (from the list below) when you do your weekly shop then please send it into school with your child to put in one of the blue bins located around the school.
