EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

Monday 26th September saw the school celebrating the different languages of the European Union and beyond! The day unfolded with all classes experiencing two or more of a range of languages including Turkish, Spanish, German, Polish and Bengali, finished off with our modern foreign language, French.

From ‘Les Trois Petits Cochons’ in Reception to Polish in Year 6 and learning French through rapping amongst other activities, the children all enjoyed the variety of the day, with a particular request to learn some German coming from Year 2!

“It was good. I liked learning Polish.” (Ben Y2)
“I liked learning to speak different languages other than French! (Dominic Y6)
“I liked learning about the different landmarks in other countries, it interested me.” (Eliana Y6)
