Courageous Advocacy Week

Our school took part in supporting a charity called Stand Up and Build. The method of fundraising was for our year sixes and members of parliament to sell merchandise and delicious food. Some of the things we sold were made by pupils from all the different year groups.

We also had games: guess how many chicks, guess where the bunny is, guess the bunny’s name, pin the tail on the bunny and that’s only some of the games we had. There were also games outside which involved sports such as football, rugby and basketball.

Additionally, in the morning we had some special visitors in our assembly. The visitors were Tim and Lesley who run the charity we were raising funds for –
Stand Up and Build!

Sadly, our 3rd visitor, Mr Connor Burns, could not make the assembly as he called in sick but we are hoping for him to work with us next term.

The final total we raised from this week was £415.12

Well done everyone at MSJ. Thank you for your support!
