On the Tuesday evening before Christmas, MSJ held ‘Carols by Torchlight’ which was a pleasurable event, involving readings by our parliament, carol singing, and performances by the Salvation Army Band.

The PFA supplied and served the Moordown St John’s community with hot refreshments and mince pies to warm everybody up in the freezing cold weather. Dave, The Children and Families Minister gave a talk about Christmas, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas. It is important to remember that Jesus, the Messiah came to us in the form of a vulnerable baby in a lowly stable, born in a manger surrounded by animals. What a touching event!
