Here are a selection of resources that may help in supporting pupils if required. The first is a guidance booklet for primary age children produced by the Educational Psychologist Service. Secondly there is a guidance note for staff working with pupils which could also be useful for parents and carers. Then there is a booklet that can be used with pupils when a friend dies, it is more suitable for older children but the content may be helpful to parents of younger children. Finally there is a booklet that provides guidance to parents and carers that you may find supportive and contacts for organisations that may be able to offer support if required.
